The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls soccer team made it back-to-back wins with a Tuesday triumph over the Tipton Tigers at Hillcrest Academy 6-1. Mid-Prairie scored three times in the game’s first 20 minutes and took a 4-1 lead into half. They maintained control of the match in the second stanza with a pair of insurance goals. Mid-Prairie had 17 total shots on goal as they kept the pressure on the Tigers all night. Esther Hughes scored twice while Sophia Baker, Kaitlin Martin, Lorelei Lueck and Katrina Curtiss all had one goal. Mid-Prairie is now 2-1 on the year. They travel to Cedar Valley Christian Friday.
