The Mid-Prairie, Winfield-Mt. Union and Columbus boys golf teams teed it up Tuesday at Wahkonsa Country Club in Durant for the Wildcat Invitational.
West Branch won the team championship, beating the field with a score of 320. Mid-Prairie had the top area finish, taking fourth of 11 teams with a score of 383. The Hawks were led by Dominic McCain’s 81, including a 39 on the back nine with two birdies. He was fifth individually. Other Mid-Prairie scores included Drew Schlabaugh with 98, Warren Scarff 101, Collin Miller 103, Aiden Bush 104 and Ian Schmidt 113.
Winfield-Mt. Union was seventh with a 388 team score. The Wolves were led by Brady Loyd at 93. Other scores for WMU included Jacob Kongable 94, Carter Loyd 98, Bryce Wade 103, Isaac Schurr 108 and Seth Schurr 111.
Columbus took 10th place with their total of 430. The Wildcats were led by Robert Coil’s 99. Other scores for Columbus included Tucker Bright 100, Logan Bright 103, Grant Watson 128 and Trenton Hoback 130.
