It was another productive outing for the Sigourney golf teams on Thursday when they swept Iowa Valley in a South Iowa Cedar League coed meet in Marengo.

The Savage girls posted a nine-hole score of 191 to best the Tigers’ 209. Lily Schmidt tied for meet medalist honors with a 46, Madelynn Hornback was not far behind with a 47, Sidney Morse 48, and Claire Svenby 50. Scratch scores included Maizy Cowman 55, Julia VanEe 60, and Reggie Talbert 64. The Sigourney boys also took care of business carding a 173 compared to Iowa Valley’s 200. Josh Mohr captured meet medalist honors with a 40 and Clay Morse was in second with a 42. Brock Halleran posted a 45 and Cade Streigle rounded out the scoring with a 46. Other scores included Levi Crawford 47, Ethan Shifflett 48, and Kale Clarahan 57.

The Savage girls travel right back to Marengo today for the Lady Tiger Tourney.
