A two-week layoff from competition did not slow down the Washington girls’ golf team on Thursday when they won the Oskaloosa Invitational at Edmundson Golf Course.

The Demons posted an 18-hole score of 331 to best the field of 13 teams. The dominant Demons held the top four scores of the meet led by medalist Kiki Bruner with a 78. Josie Tanner tallied an 83, Makenna Conrad 84, and Kaylin Long rounded out the scoring with 85. Alecia Goff had a scratch score of 95.

Washington looks to keep their winning ways going on Monday hosting a meet.
