Belle Plaine Country Club was the course for the Keota boys’ golf team on Thursday and the Eagles continued their winning ways by downing the Plainsmen in a South Iowa Cedar League dual.
The Eagles had a nine-hole score of 169 to best Belle Plaine’s 210. Seven of the top eight scores belonged to the Eagles including meet medalist Luke Hammen with a 40 and runner-up Max Johnson with a 42. Colten Clarahan carded a 43 while Sawyer Stout and Cole Kindred each managed a 44. Other results included Drew Sieren 46 and Evan Vittetoe 50.
