
The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk golf team hits the road for an 18-hole invitational at West Liberty Tuesday. The Golden Hawks are coming off of a River Valley Conference dual win over Wilton on Monday in Kalona 191-198. Mid-Prairie was led by senior Dominic McCain with his career low round of 37 on the course. For the year, McCain leads Mid-Prairie with an 83 average per 18 holes.
The Winfield-Mt. Union boys will also be at West Liberty today. The Wolves were last in action Friday when they got by New London 180-181. Jacob Kongable, Brady Loyd and Bryce Wade led WMU with a trio of 44s. On the season the Wolves are led by Loyd with a 93 average per 18 holes. The Golden Hawks and Wolves will be joined today by Clear Creek Amana, Central DeWitt, Durant, North Cedar, Iowa City Regina, Tipton, West Branch, Wilton and the Comets. Action starts at noon and continues all day in West Liberty.
