Two KCII area girls golf teams traveled to Marengo Friday for the Iowa Valley Tiger Invitational. The Sigourney Savages came away with the team title, shooting a low round 203 to edge Iowa Valley’s 205 on their home course. Sigourney was led by Maizy Cowman with a 49. The junior was fourth overall. Other scores for the Savages included Sidney Morse and Lily Schmidt 50, Claire Svenby 54, and Julia VanEe 62.

Mid-Prairie shot a 227 to finish third as a team. Top score for the Hawks was Gabi Robertson with a 55. Other Golden Hawk scores included Alexa Huber 56, Madelyn Bender 57, Madi Davidson 59, Elliot Debler 60 and Claire Zirkelbach 65.
