The Mid-Prairie boys track team traveled to Anamosa Tuesday and finished in the top half of a tough field. The Hawks were fourth of 10 teams with 79 points. Anamosa won their home meet with 130 points. The Golden Hawks had one championship event on the night with Thaddeus Shetler winning the 3200 in 10:14.50. Other top finishes include Shetler runner up in the 1600, Clarke Latcham second in the 400m hurdles, second and third in the 1600 for Jamie Stutzman and Chandler Hershberger respectively and third for Lucas Bontrager in the 3200. The Golden Hawks will next be in action Monday at Highland.
