April is recognized as National Car Care Month and there are several things that vehicle owners can do to increase performance and longevity of their ride. Katie Rodriguez with Car Doctor in Washington tells KCII news that the biggest keys are the routine checks, making sure your vehicle gets in to be serviced for things like oil changes, fluid checks and more. As the weather warms from spring to summer, Rodriguez talked about specific points of emphasis for car care this time of year. “Basically the important parts of car care are the same year round. The hot weather, just like cold weather will effect everything on your vehicle, so you need to have the same things checked as you would for winterizing, along with your air conditioning unit.”
