The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys soccer team kept the streak alive Friday, posting a 3-0 shut out win at Cascade to make it seven straight match wins to start the season. The Golden Hawks did all of their damage in the first half with Owen Trimpe getting Mid-Prairie on the board with an assist from brother Ethan five minutes into the game. In the 24th minute and 30th minute it was Jack Pennington with goals to move the Mid-Prairie lead to 3-0 going to intermission. That was enough for the Golden Hawk defense, led by Keaton Graber in goal to lock things down for the win as he turned in a clean sheet. Mid-Prairie had 28 total shots, 14 on goal in the win. The Hawks are now 7-0 on the season as they get ready for No. 3 Iowa City Regina Tuesday in Wellman.
