A tall task awaited the Highland soccer team on Thursday when they welcomed undefeated Burlington Notre Dame for senior night and the Nikes had little trouble in a 11-1 victory. 

Notre Dame (8-0) jumped out to a 7-0 lead at half and added four more goals out of intermission to force the mercy rule win. Sam Brueck was a hard player to stop finishing with five goals. The Huskies recognized eight seniors including Kayla Cerny, Miguel Rios, Owen Donovan, Alexis Olguin, Alan Cortes, Jacob Allen, Justin Rodriguez, and Ramses Vergara. 

Highland falls to 0-5 and gets back at it Tuesday in Wapello.
