In a class of their own, the Washington girls’ golf team left their competition in the dust on Saturday when they traveled to Green Acres Country Club in Donnellson and won by 107 strokes.

The Demons shot an 18-hole score of 331 and that steamrolled second place Keokuk with 438. Six of the top seven scores in the four-team tournament belonged to the orange and black including meet medalist Kiki Bruner with a 75. Anna Nacos was second with 82, Josie Tanner fourth with 86, and Makenna Conrad as well as Kaylin Long tied for fifth with 88. Alecia Goff recorded a scratch score of 92.

Washington looks to keep the good times rolling Thursday when they travel to Burlington.
