A Kalona man was arrested for an alleged domestic abuse incident Friday.

According to the Washington County Communications Center, at about 11:39 p.m. Washington County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a residence in the 400 block of B Avenue in Kalona. The caller informed dispatch that the suspect, 32-year-old Daniel Michael Thomas, had been drinking and abused her. The caller advised that medical attention was not needed, and Thomas was arrested and charged with domestic abuse assault – third or subsequent offense – a class D felony.
