Thursday was a different meet, but same story for the Washington girls’ golf program when they had a tuneup for conference and regionals by traveling to Flint Hills Golf Course in Burlington and winning a nine-team invitational.

The Demons had an 18-hole tally of 322 to best the competition by 42 strokes with Bettendorf coming in second with 364. Kiki Bruner and Anna Nacos each shot 75 to pick up meet medalist and runner-up honors. Makenna Conrad tallied an 84 and Josie Tanner rounded out the scoring with 88.

Washington turns around and gets back on the course today in Mount Pleasant for a quadrangular.
