A road trip to Wapello got the Hillcrest Academy boys soccer team back on the winning track as they took out the Indians 2-0 on Friday. John Hughes gave the Ravens a lead with his goal in the fourth minute. Hillcrest would hold that 1-0 lead going to the half. In the second stanza the Ravens tacked on a late insurance goal from Will Kolck. The Ravens kept the pressure on all night, putting 11 shots on goal against Wapello while the Raven defense closed down the Indians and Aiden Krabill turned in a clean sheet with 11 saves. With the win, Hillcrest is now 3-3 on the year and hosts Tipton Saturday with kick off set for 2p.m. in Kalona.
