The Iowa High School Golf Coaches Association has released this week’s rankings and three area teams find themselves in the poll. In class 1A, the top ranked area team is Winfield-Mt. Union. The Wolves check in at No. 6 in Iowa with their nine hole average of 190. Three Wolves are ranked in the individual poll, led by Brady Loyd at No. 10 with his 44.6 average per nine. He is joined by teammate Jacob Kongable at No. 20 and Bryce Wade at No. 33.
In class 3A the Washington Demons are the top area team, checking in at No. 20 in this week’s poll with a 185 average per nine holes as a team. Roman Roth is the lone ranked Demon individual, sitting at No. 15 with his 41.09 average. Mid-Prairie is No. 29 in the class 3A poll this week. The Golden hawks are led by Dominic McCain, checking in at No. 18 on the individual side with an average of 41.25.
