In its 10th year, the Highland Shooting Sports team is moving their home field into the future. In order to keep up with program growth, the team envisioned an infrastructure upgrade at their home facility at the Riverside VFW Post 6414. Working with the VFW, Washington County Riverboat Foundation, Foundations Unlimited, Whitetails Unlimited and through local fundraising efforts, the club was able to acquire a new trap house, trap thrower, wireless trap release system and new shooter platforms.

The construction project will be completed by the middle of May. The Highland Shooting Sports team was established in 2011 and participates in the Iowa Scholastic Clay Target Program.
