The Hillcrest Academy boys soccer team saw their modest two game winning streak come to an end on the road Monday, falling to Central Lee 1-0 in double overtime. The two teams played to a scoreless stalemate through the regulation 80 minutes and one extra frame before the Hawks broke through with a golden goal from Seth Mayes. The Hillcrest offense had 12 shots on goal, but could not put one past Central Lee keeper Blake Moeller who had 11 saves. Aiden Krabill led Hillcrest with three saves. With the loss, Hillcrest falls to 4-4 on the year as they travel to Danville Tuesday.
