The City of Keota approved an ordinance regarding a sewer rate increase. According to the new ordinance, each customer will pay a sewer rental fee based on water usage each month. For the first 2,000 gallons used, sewer rent is $50. For the next 3,000 gallons of water used, sewer rent is charged at $5 per 1,000 gallons. This ordinance will be in effect starting July 1st.
