The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls golf team begins the postseason on Monday when they travel to Heritage Oaks outside of Mediapolis for the first round of class 2A regional play. The Hawks were last on the course a week ago when they finished second at a River Valley Conference quadrangular at Blue Top Ridge in Riverside. The Golden Hawks come into the night with a 451 average per 18 holes. They are led by Madelyn Bender with her 105 average.
Mid-Prairie will be joined today by Central Lee, and their 692 average, Karissa Moeller is best for the Hawks with a 129 average per 18, Davis County has a 474 team average with Morgan Petefish shooting a Mustang best 97 average per 18 holes, Louisa-Muscatine has a 451 18-hole average led by Madison Bieri with a 102 average, Mediapolis has a 504 team average with the top player for the Bullettes Cara Knoke with a 117 average, Van Buren has a 493 team average, the Warrior leader is Brooklyn Cormier with a 111 average, West Liberty has a 467 average paced by Aly Harned with a 106 average and Williamsburg at a 386 average with Teagan Schaefer at a team best 90 average.
