The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls golf team kept their season going Monday, moving through the first round of the class 2A regional tournament at Mediapolis. The Hawks shot 456 as a team, placing as runners-up in the field of seven. Williamsburg won the regional title with their score of 379. Mid-Prairie was led on the day by Madelyn Bender with a 109. Other scores for the Hawks included Madi Davidson 111, Alexa Huber 116, Gabi Robertson 120, Elliot Debler 124, and Claire Zirkelbach 131. The Golden Hawks advance to the regional finals Monday at West Liberty.
