One person was injured in a two-vehicle collision in the city of Washington Monday afternoon.
At about 3:26 p.m. a 2010 Ford Fusion driven by a juvenile failed to yield at the stop-sign intersection of Sitler Drive and South Iowa Avenue and turned north into the path of a southbound 2005 Ford pickup truck driven by 25-year-old Destiny Teel of Granbury, Texas, according to the Washington Police Department. The vehicles collided head on and both were towed from the scene. One person was transported by Washington County Ambulance Service to Washington County Hospital and Clinics, and the juvenile was cited for failure to yield upon entering a highway. The Washington Fire Department and Washington County Rescue also assisted at the scene.
