The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk softball team is hosting an intrasquad scrimmage Saturday night at Carr, Vincent, Gould Field in Kalona. It’s a chance to see the Golden Hawks and new head coach Matthew Hoeppner, ahead of Monday’s season opener against West Liberty. Admission is Gatorade, water, sunflower seeds or other items the team can use throughout the season. These items can be dropped off at the concession stand. First pitch is set for 6p.m.
