The Hillcrest Academy Raven boys soccer team travels to Burlington Monday to meet Burlington Notre Dame, the top team in class 1A in the substate semifinal round of the playoffs. The Ravens enter the match with a 9-5 record after a 2-0 win in the opening round of the postseason over Central Lee Thursday. In the match, the Ravens got goals from Jorge Canchola and Will Kolck. On the year, Hillcrest is led by Noah Miller with nine goals, John Hughes with four assists and in goal, Aiden Krabill has 103 saves and a 79.2% save percentage.

Burlington Notre Dame is 18-1 on the season. The Nikes are ranked No. 1 in class 1A in the final poll of the year from the Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association. Notre Dame finished as unbeaten regular season and tournament champions of the Southeast Iowa Superconference. They received a bye through the opening round of the playoffs. On the year, Notre Dame is led by Sam Brueck with 29 goals, fourth most in class 1A. Parker Davis leads the state with 29 assists. In goal, Caden Murphy has made 36 saves with an 85.7% save percentage. These two teams met twice during the regular season with the Nikes sweeping the matches by scores of 8-0 and 10-0. Action starts tonight at 6:30 at Burlington Notre Dame High School.
