The 2021 soccer season came to a close on Friday for the Washington girls when they had a hard time stopping Marion (12-4) in a class 2A regional.

The Demons fell 5-2 on the road in the first round game. Washington concludes the year 7-8 and bid farewell to eight seniors in Alivia Emry, Taylor Brinning, Emily Jeffrey, Trina Griffin, Yulisma Torres, Emma Calderon, Jaden Chalupa, and Sarah Hall.
