As Iowa has 41.5% of its population fully vaccinated against COVID-19, Hy-Vee, Inc. has announced a new incentive for others to get protected against the virus.

Those who complete their COVID-19 vaccination at a Hy-Vee pharmacy or pop-up Hy-Vee vaccination clinic will receive a $10 Hy-Vee gift card. The vaccination must be completed between now and November 11th, and free vaccines are available at all Hy-Vee pharmacies with no appointment necessary. Currently, the Washington Hy-Vee has the Pfizer-BioNTech two-dose vaccine which is given to those 12 years and older, and they are available to administer vaccines anytime the pharmacy is open. Their hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m.-7 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. As of Tuesday morning Washington County has 40.6% of its residents fully vaccinated, according to Washington County Public Health.
