
Sunday afternoon, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office received a call reporting a vandalized Chevy Express van near the intersection of Dakota Avenue and Old Highway 34. Authorities on scene found that along with the vandalism, approximately $2,000 worth of items had been stolen from the vehicle. Following an investigation, two juveniles, a 17-year-old from Rome, Iowa and a 16-year-old from Mount Pleasant were charged with second degree theft and second degree criminal mischief, both class D felonies.
