The Columbus Community summer teams fell in a pair of Southeast Iowa Super Conference matchups on Thursday when they made a trip to Wapello.

The Wildcat softball team managed just four hits in a 4-1 loss to the Arrows (3-4). Jobie Lekwa, Michelle Diaz, Kylee Wheeler, and Lela Fort each had singles while Lily Coil tossed six innings in the circle giving up two earned runs on eight hits and striking out six. The Wildcats drop to 2-3 on the season. The baseball squad couldn’t stop the Wapello (2-2) offense in a 16-1 defeat to fall to 0-2.
