It was a quick night of baseball in Keota on Friday when the Eagles hosted Tri-County for a South Iowa Cedar League showdown and had little trouble in a 13-3 victory.

The Eagles plated nine runs in the first to set up the short five inning affair. Keota recorded eight hits led by a 2-for-2 with three RBI day from Brady Duwa. Colten Clarahan also brought in three tallies and a run scored. Bryce Greiner got the win on the bump in two innings of work giving up one earned run on two hits.

Keota won their fourth in a row to move to 4-1 on the season.
