The WACO School district reminds those in need that they are operating two food pantries over the summer break. While they are not hosting a weekly lunch backpack program, they will have the WACO Community Food Pantry available at the Crawfordsville Church open on the first and third Thursday of each month from 2-3:30 p.m. for those 60 and older and 3:30-6p.m. for all others. The second location, at the Wayland Mennonite Church is open on the second and fourth Thursday of each month from 4-6 p.m. If you have questions, call 319-256-2743.
