The Hillcrest Academy Raven boys soccer team had six players recognized this week for their work on the pitch in the spring by the Southeast Iowa Superconference.
Senior Eli Ours was a first team all-SEISC selection at back and midfield. He was part of a Raven defense that gave up just two goals per match.
Junior Noah Miller was a first team all-conference selection at midfield and forward. He finished the year with nine goals, fourth most in the Superconference North, and three assists.
Junior goalkeeper Aiden Krabill was a second team all-conference pick. He ended the year with 114 saves and a save percentage of 78.6%.
Sophomore central defender Grant Bender was a second team all-conference selection as part of a defense that posted five shut outs during the season.
A pair of Ravens were honorable mention choices with senior John Hughes and junior Jorge Canchola. Hughes ended his career with four goals and four assists in his final season. Canchola had three goals and an assist this year. The Ravens posted a 9-6 overall record.
