The New London Tiger baseball team remained unbeaten with a 14-4 win over Hillcrest Academy in Kalona Friday. The Tigers scored in every inning, building a 10-0 lead after two and a half frames. Hillcrest got on the board with two runs in the third and two more in the fourth to get within 11-4, but the Tigers scored two in the fifth and one more in the sixth to end the contest early. The Tigers outhit the Ravens 15-8 including four homers, two each from Josh Catala and Hecniel Rodriguez, they each drove in four. Hillcrest was led by London Schrock with a two run homer. Grant Bender and Noah Miller had one driven in each. London Schrock took his first loss of the season on the mound, working two and two thirds innings, giving up eight hits and 10 runs. The Tigers are now 8-0 on the season, Hillcrest falls to 4-5.
