Just before 9a.m. Saturday, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call regarding a domestic assault at 3184 Highway 22 in Riverside. The victim was transported to Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids to receive medical treatment. Officers arrested 26-year-old Allante Demetrius Johnson of Cedar Rapids for domestic assault causing serious injury. Johnson was transported from the Linn County Jail to the Washington County Jail.
