At their most recent meeting the Kalona City Council moved forward on a building needs assessment for the Kalona Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services. Carl A. Nelson will be conducting the assessment. A committee of fire department members, EMS members and two council representatives will be formed to participate in the process representing the city of Kalona.
