The Washington Chamber of Commerce welcomed a new retail business Wednesday.
The Chamber Ambassadors held a ribbon cutting at Boho Bailey Boutique, located at 215 South Iowa Avenue in the former H&R Block location. Business Owner Leslie Bailey lives with her husband and 10-year-old twins in Crawfordsville. She shared the background of the business, which started in her home in 2015 and then led to a storefront in Winfield. About a year and half later COVID-19 came and she decided to go back to selling goods online only. After getting vaccinated Bailey says it was time to look for a larger store location, “We were looking all over the area, we looked at Mount Pleasant, we looked in Riverside, we looked in Washington and Washington was the winner so here we are.”
Boho Bailey sells women’s clothing, home decor, and screen printed items. The store does offer bulk custom screen printing items, and they will be having their grand opening this Saturday from noon-4 p.m.
