Sigourney and Keota renewed their friendly rivalry on the diamond last night with the home Savages pitching a shutout in the softball game and the Eagle baseball team returning the favor.

The Sigourney softball squad made it a quick night by scoring in every inning to win 12-0 in four frames. Eighth grader Ava Fisch had a big evening going 3-for-4 with two RBI and four runs scored. Carly Goodwin drove in three and Josephine Moore had a couple doubles. Moore twirled four innings of no hit ball giving up three walks and striking out four. Sigourney is now 13-6 and Keota is 0-10.

The Eagle baseball team turned some heads in an 8-0 victory on the road that ended in a combined no hitter. Colten Clarahan started and went 5 2/3 frames of hitless ball giving up six walks and striking out 14. The pitch count rule forced him out, but Luke Hammen came in and recorded the final four outs to preserve the no-no.  Brady Duwa took care of the offense with two dingers and the senior went 3-for-4 with three RBI. Dalton Dodd and Bryce Greiner each had a pair of base hits. Keota is now 8-4 and Sigourney falls to 11-2.
