This week the Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association released its 2021 postseason awards and a pair of Washington boys’ soccer players were honored. 

Zac Stout was named honorable mention all state in class 2A. The senior forward rewrote the record books at Washington with a new career scoring mark and his 28 goals this spring also ranks first in program history. Stout finished with 59 points on the season. 

Simeon Buie was recognized for his work in the classroom by being named to the academic all state list. The senior was a staple defensively for the Demons and he was the only player in the Southeast Conference to receive this award.
