It was a double sweep for Pekin over the Columbus Community summer teams on Monday when the Wildcats traveled to Packwood for a Southeast Iowa Super Conference doubleheader. 

The Wildcat softball team lost the twin bill by 11-7 and 8-4 final scores. They are now 9-14 overall and 6-7 in the league. The Pekin baseball team had a handful of crooked number innings in 13-0 and 25-0 victories. Columbus is now 0-14 and 0-11 in conference. 

The Wildcats get back on the diamond tomorrow at Winfield-Mt. Union.
