A revenge meeting in Letts did not go as planned for the Highland softball team last night when they faced off with #3 Louisa-Muscatine and fell to their Southeast Iowa Super Conference opponent by a 10-1 final.

The Huskies took an early 1-0 lead in the first after a single by Grace Batcheller plated Abbi Stransky. That hit was the only one of the night for Highland and L&M immediately answered with six runs in the bottom of the first that paved the way to a Falcon victory. Jessica Kraus tossed 5 1/3 innings in the circle giving up four runs (two earned) on six hits and striking out two. 

Highland drops to 15-5 overall and 9-3 in the league.
