A free COVID vaccine clinic will be available to everyone age 12 and up this Saturday in Sharon Center at the historical Sharon High School and Community Center grounds.
The clinic will last from noon-2 p.m. following the Sharon Center Independence Day parade and no appointment is necessary. Rural Health and Safety of Eastern Iowa, RX4Prevention and Johnson County Public health are teaming up to help sponsor the event. Chairman of Rural Health and Safety of Eastern Iowa Roger Stutsman shares why they decided to help sponsor the clinic, “We just think it’s the right thing to do. We want our community to stay safe. It’s a pretty closely knit community out here.”
The state coronavirus dashboard shows as of Thursday 45.5% of Iowans are fully vaccinated. Live music will be available to everyone along with prizes for those who receive the vaccine. For information on the clinic visit this story at kciiradio.com.
