As Independence Day falls on a Sunday this year, several offices will be closed in observance of the holiday Monday.

The Washington County Courthouse and county offices will be closed Monday. Washington City Hall and the Washington Public Library will also be closed Monday. Garbage routes for Washington residents won’t be affected. Post offices will also be closed, as well as most banking institutions.
