A Brighton man was located on a Jefferson County warrant Thursday.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested 38-year-old Jason Robert Potts at about 2:34 p.m. in Brighton, according to the Washington County Communications Center. Potts was wanted for violation of probation on original charges of possession of a controlled substance, a class C felony; second degree theft, a class D felony, and unauthorized use of a credit card, an aggravated misdemeanor. Potts was transported to the Jefferson County Jail to be held on a $20,000 cash-only bond. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
