Keeping the good times rolling is exactly what the Keota baseball team did on Thursday when they hosted Belle Plaine (8-14) for the South Iowa Cedar League finale and came away with a 7-3 victory.

The Eagles plated two in the first and tacked on five more in the middle innings to open up a seven run advantage they never gave up. The purple and gold recorded seven hits led by Colten Clarahan going 3-for-3 with one RBI. Caden Clarahan, Bryce Greiner, Carson Sprouse, and Max Johnson also brought in runs. Colten Clarahan tossed 5 1/3 frames giving up two runs on one hit and striking out 12.

The Eagles won their fifth in a row to improve to 13-6 on the season and 11-5 in the SICL to cap off the conference slate in fourth.
