The Keota Eagle softball team saw their season draw to a close Tuesday in the first round of the class 1A regional tournament when they fell to conference rival North Mahaska 4-1. The Warhawks broke the scoreless tie in the third with a pair of runs and added two more in the fifth to make it 4-0. Keota got on the board in the sixth with a single run. The Eagles finish their season with a 2-16 record and will say goodbye to seniors Katelyn Swantz and Sky Weber. North Mahaska is 17-10, they advance to face the winner of Sigourney and English Valleys in the class 1A semis Friday.
