The Hillcrest Academy Raven baseball team rolled to a road win over Danville Thursday 10-5. The Ravens scored twice in the first and once each in the second and third to build a 4-0 lead. Danville got on the board with one in the third to pull within 4-1, but Hillcrest just kept scoring, tacking on two in the fourth, three in the fifth and one more in the seventh. The Ravens put together a big night at the plate against the Bears pitching staff, posting 10 hits and nine walks as a team. Noah Miller went 4/5 with an RBI and three runs scored. London Schrock drove in three with a home run on a 1/4 night. Eli Ours knocked in a pair while Luke Schrock, and Josiah Beachy added an RBI each. Beachy recorded the win on the mound, going the distance, giving up 11 hits, five runs, and striking out three. Hillcrest has now won three of their last four heading into district play Saturday against English Valleys at Highland. They stand at 12-9 on the year. Danville ends the regular year at 5-14.
