A call for a possible gas leak led to a discovery of drugs and paraphernalia in Washington Wednesday.
Washington Police, Fire, and EMS departments and Alliant Energy responded to a possible gas leak at 8:02 a.m. at 1108 East Washington Street, according to the Washington County Communications Center. This residence is west of the site of the house explosion that occurred last January. No gas leak was found, and charges for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia are pending lab results. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
