Washington County Public Health is in search of a new administrator.

The Washington County Board of Health approved Danielle Pettit-Majewski’s resignation during their regular meeting Thursday. Pettit-Majewski’s last day will be August 4th, as she has accepted a position in Johnson County. Pettit-Majewski has been the administrator since 2013. The board discussed next steps with County Human Resources Administrator Amber Armbruster for filling the position, and Board Chair Cathy Buffington and Board Member Dr. Christopher Grier agreed to review the job description before posting it this week. They also discussed hiring an interim administrator from another county health department for the next few months.
