The Kalona City Council held their regular meeting Monday. 

Actions were taken to approve the phase 2 lots and improvements of the Northridge subdivision. Improvements include approval of storm and water sewer systems, detention facilities and roads. Tests have been run by the developer and city engineers and have been signed off by the city council. The additional lots in phase 2, 65-85, are available for single family and condo dwellings. Both the lots and improvements must be approved by the Washington County Board of Supervisors and will become Kalona city property.
