A Brighton man was ordered to serve 15 days in jail for violating his probation in Jefferson County.
Court documents show that 38-year-old Jason Robert Potts was arrested on July 1st for violation of probation on original charges of possession of a controlled substance, a class C felony; second-degree theft, a class D felony, and unauthorized use of a credit card, an aggravated misdemeanor. Potts is given credit for time already served in county jail. Potts was ordered to serve five years of probation for an incident that occurred in October of 2019.
