The Winfield Fire and Rescue Department is celebrating a century of service.

Everyone is invited to come celebrate with members of the department as they host a day of entertainment at the Twin Lakes Country Club. A golf tournament will be starting at 1 p.m. followed by a bags tournament. Winfield Fire and Rescue EMS Captain Chris Gerling says there will be prizes awarded to those who participate, “I’ve been working for the last several months with businesses in the area and southeast Iowa and received a lot of donations for golfers. We get enough donations that everyone walks away with something.”

The Henry County Cattlemen will be serving supper from 5-7 p.m. with Lee-Henry Road providing live music from 7-11 p.m.
